Pilotage procedures: Pilot and Horbormaster can be contacted by VHF Channel 16 and by radiotelephone on 2738Mhz. Pilot boards approximately 1.5 miles outside the port. Pilot station: 1/2 mile from seabuoy Towage: 2 tugs – 1,100 HP; 2,150 HP Working hours: Customs - First shift 08:00 to 15:00 and second shift from 15:00 to 21:00 hrs. Equipment: None available, must be ordered from Santo Domingo. Storage: None at Berths 1 and 2. Open storage: Up to 20,000 tons of rock gypsum.
